VIDEO: A Stafford couple is trying to get area students to take a pledge not to vape, use tobacco or drugs. It’s called Athlete’s Don’t, but anyone can take the pledge. A real concern is the number of young people vaping. The numbers are rising and an area doctor says there are real dangers.

Mary Washington Healthcare announces it’s suspending the practice of pursuing legal action for unpaid bills.
During the 2019 Virginia General Assembly Session, lawmakers voted to increase the minimum age to purchase tobacco, nicotine vapor and alternative nicotine products from 18 to 21 years old.
The course will be offered on 6/27- 6/28 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The training is free and will be held at the Stafford Hospital. Must attend both days.
