PHOTOS: It’s over. The Violin Makers Workshop at the Wm Mason II Violin Shop on Jackson Street in Fredericksburg concluded Friday. Violin makers from around the country have spent the past two weeks working together and learning. They’ve also been building a violin that they’ll finish and sell next year.

Because of the cancellation of some open rehearsals in January, the Rappahannock Choral Society has extended open auditions throughout February.

Hazel Run is bringing their brand of Americana, soul, and rock-influenced acoustic music to Gari Melchers Belmont Nov. 17 to benefit Friends of the Rappahannock.
Half the proceeds are used for music student scholarships at University of Mary Washington, and the other half supports the mission of Legal Aid Works
Due to popular demand, the 2018 season has been extended and will include 18 concerts every Friday night through September 28, 2018.
The local Fredericksburg organization Semilla Cultural (Cultural Seed) will be performing at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in Washington on February 23rd at 9:30pm as part of the INTERSECTIONS Festival.
