Area officials gathered with Habitat of Caroline on Thursday to celebrate and sign. Grants from USDA Rural Development and the George Washington Regional Commission will mean 20 new homes in Caroline County over the next two years.
Habitat for Humanity of Caroline County and USDA Rural Development sign off on building even more homes in the county. What’s it mean? The signing sealed the deal on the USDA 523 Mutual Self-Help grant. It kicked off the next two-year build cycle of 20 homes. 12 will be Self-Help builds.
The deadline to apply for funds is this Friday, Feb. 10, 2023.
