James Monroe High School environmental science students planted trees on Tuesday at Downtown Greens Inc. new land.
Volunteers helping plant 800+ trees on about three acres on the new Downtown Greens land off Belman Road in Fredericksburg. It’s all being coordinated by Adam Lynch and Friends of the Rappahannock.
It’s the countdown to conservation. Downtown Greens has a goal of being debt free in the purchase of its new land by the end of March. Here are the details. downtowngreens.org
