For four years now, Atlantic has asked their trade partners and suppliers to donate materials and labor at a reduction in cost or in many instances for free.

Germanna Give Day is Monday. It’s about raising money to impact programs that directly help families.
GO Virginia is a statewide economic development initiative that provides project-based funds to encourage collaboration among private industry, higher education, and government partners to create higher-paying jobs.
GCC President Dr. Janet Gullickson: “Germanna has anticipated this necessity and is thoroughly prepared to continue our excellence. In fact, our fall enrollment is up.”
Gordon Wayne finished his journey by walking to Boston College. A Boston TV station talked to him.
“With this NSF grant, we will be developing coursework in Geospatial Technologies and Unmanned Aircraft Systems, including an online drone pilot course and a course in UAS image analysis.”
Through the agreement, students who hope to become teachers can begin solidifying career preparations while in high school with dual enrollment courses that can be applied toward a Germanna degree and later transferred to UMW, or directly applied at UMW.
The NSWCDD—Germanna Educational Partnership Agreement aligns with the Department of the Navy’s new civilian human capital strategy released in January 2020 to position the Navy for success.
Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt has been appointed as the Spotsy representative for the coming four years on the Germanna Community College Board.
