You can find information about Food Bank distributions on their Facebook events page or by downloading their free app, FREDFOODVA. Food Bank officials say you are not required to show any paperwork or ID to receive food. Participants may be asked a series of intake questions such as household information, income, & locality.

Neenah Road in Westmoreland closed for emergency repairs
Neenah Road is closed between Route 202 (Cople Highway) and Route 621 (Nomini Grove Road) for motorist safety. VDOT says it’s a ten mile detour.

Spending Friday painting in Bowling Green with Habitat for Humanity of Caroline. That’s what a group of volunteers did from Fredericksburg United Methodist Church. The church sends a work team monthly on a Friday to work on three homes being built at the corner of Travis and East Broaddus Ave.
