The National Weather Service says while mild temperatures and sunny skies are expected the next few days, remember the area waterways remain chilly. Water temperatures are still in the 40s in most spots!
The National Weather Service says isolated severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon into this evening mainly south of I-66 and Route 48 in western Virginia and eastern West Virginia. Large hail is the primary threat, but isolated damaging wind gusts are also possible.
TORNADO DRILL: Virginia’s annual statewide tornado drill for 2021 will take place Tuesday, March 16, at 9:45 AM.
