At 1 o’clock Monday morning, at the end of a grueling 18-hour day of what Coach Page Durham called “gaming, strategy and the most awesome sportsmanship,” the fledgling Germanna Grizzlies won the Ultimate Endgamers $10,000 Championship.
Dozens of Germanna students planted 3,000 flags Tuesday to prepare for GCC’s 9/11 Remember: 20 Years Later event set for noon Thursday, Sept. 9 in the courtyard of the Fredericksburg Area Campus.
