Grant will help train more students–specifically military veterans–on road construction.
A significant portion of the funds will go toward the Academy’s mission to train military veterans for careers in road and bridge construction.
Part of the focus will be on creating careers in road building for military veterans.
Academy classes will be based at Germanna’s Daniel Technology Center in Culpeper.
Germanna’s completely online, accelerated College Everywhere program allowed her to work and study at the same time, taking the classes at home at her convenience.
