Volunteers worked with Tree Fredericksburg on April 26. The nonprofit headed by Anne and Carl Little is dedicated to restoring the urban canopy in Fredericksburg. Since its founding in 2008, Tree Fredericksburg has planted and maintained some 3,500 trees in the city.
More than 100 first-year University of Mary Washington (UMW) students worked with Tree Fredericksburg, the Department of Public Works, and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities to mulch portions of the Heritage Trail. View the entire photo...
