Dinwiddie Music Festival

The event offers single day ticket options, three-day passes, and RV camping options.

Celebrate Fairfax! showcases live concerts on nine stages, more than 300 exhibitors, food vendors, a petting zoo, the Fairfax County Karaoke Championship, carnival rides, nightly fireworks and more. Ticket prices vary.

In Town
Living History Weekend at Chatham Manor
Saturday, June 6, 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday, June 7, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Chatham Manor, 120 Chatham Lane, Fredericksburg, Va. 22405
Living historians will portray soldiers, civilians, sutlers, surgeons, and the U.S. Sanitary Commission. There will be interactive presentations and firing demonstrations throughout the weekend. There will be hands-on activities for all to enjoy. Kids can join in a scavenger hunt, visiting stations to earn a reward.
At 9 a.m. Saturday, Chief Historian John Hennessy will lead a walking tour looking at area slaves’ quest for freedom.
At 10 a.m. Saturday, the office of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will hold a Naturalization ceremony on the front lawn of Chatham.

Rock the River FXBG
Saturday, June 6, 7:30 a.m. continuing all day . . .
Old Mill Park, 2401 Caroline St., Fredericksburg
American Canoe Association (ACA) Canoe Poling National Championships and 35th Annual Great Rappahannock Whitewater Canoe Race.
A four-mile run, art and crafts displays, craft beer, food, and live music throughout the day.
Free admission. The $30 beer sampling package includes a Rock the River FXBG glass for sampling and 20 tickets. Each ticket is good for one sample. Additional sample tickets are $2 each. You must be 21 or older and present a valid I.D. prior to admission.
Staff-Burg Ultimate Pickup Frisbee Pickup games and workshops (free) from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Purchase your beer sampling package online or at the event.
Register online for the 6 p.m. four-mile Run for the River.

Kids Fishing Derby
Saturday, June 6

Ages 4-16 register onsite 7:30 – 10 a.m.
Derby 8:30 – 11 a.m.
Bring fishing gear. Food, games, door prizes, family fun!

Children’s Miracle Network Fun Festival
Saturday June 6, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
At the Stafford Lakes Walmart on Route 17
All proceeds benefit Children’s National Hospital
Stafford County Fire and Rescue Station 12 will be cooking hot dogs on the grill.
There will be popcorn and snow cones.
Blue Star Mom’s will be hosting a bake sale.
Dunk booth, craft table, games for the kids.
Free admission.

58th Annual Historic Fredericksburg AACA Car Show
Saturday, June 6, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The 600 through 900 blocks of Caroline Street and the 100 through 200 blocks of Hanover Street in downtown Fredericksburg.
Four blocks of antique and vintage vehicles ranging from early 1900″s to 1990 will be on display. Period costumes and dance demonstrations.
Free.
