Fredericksburg-Based QRC Technologies a Fortune Magazine Best Workplace
Fredericksburg’s QRC Technologies (QRC) was listed as number 11 in Fortune magazine’s list of 15 Best Workplaces in Manufacturing and Production. QRC specializes in “RF Test and Measurement products, especially for cellular communications.” Founded in 1987, the company has 63 staff members and $19.39 million in revenues worldwide.

Community Bank of the Chesapeake Purchases New Retail Location in Downtown Fredericksburg
Community Bank of The Chesapeake has purchased the 3,375 square foot retail condominium on the first floor of Park View, the new luxury condominium project on the corner of William and Prince Edward Street in downtown Fredericksburg. The purchase was made from PV Holdings LLC for $1,580,800. Wilson H. Greenlaw, CCIM of Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, handled the sale negotiations on behalf of the buyer.

Marstel-Day Recognized by Environmental Business Journal
Fredericksburg-based Marstel-Day received three business achievement awards from the Environmental Business Journal. Marstel-Day received the Silver Medal award for business achievement; a Project Merit award for its project-specific efforts in water conservation and sustainment; and the New Practice Area award for its launch of a new business line in environmental gaming. Marstel-Day’s mission is to “execute projects to meet client requirements while enhancing the environment and permanently conserving natural resources and wildlife habitat.”

Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg Announces Two Executive Promotions
Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg (RAF) has promoted Chris Snyder to practice administrator for Virginia Medical Imaging and Virginia Interventional & Vascular Associates (VIVA). The practice administrator provides executive leadership for four outpatient imaging centers that are a partnership of RAF and Mary Washington Healthcare — Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg, the Imaging Center for Women, Medical Imaging at Lee’s Hill, and Medical Imaging of North Stafford – as well as VIVA’s outpatient interventional radiology and vascular surgery facility.

Aatif Rahman has been named director of technical services for Virginia Medical Imaging’s four centers, filling the post that Snyder held from April 2014 until his recent promotion.

Radiologic Associates of Fredericksburg is the largest provider of medical imaging services in the Fredericksburg, Virginia, region, including Spotsylvania and Stafford counties.
