The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office needs the community’s help in order to solve two robberies that took place at knifepoint late Friday night.
On June 2nd at approximately 8:37 p.m. a deputy responded to Foxwood Drive for a report of an attempted robbery. The victim advised she was walking home when a vehicle came up to her. A suspect jumped out of the vehicle, brandished a knife, and demanded her belongings. The victim did not comply and instead ran to go get help.
Less than 20 minutes later, a deputy responded to another report of a robbery. The victim involved advised he was walking on Vista Woods Road when a vehicle approached him from behind. The driver exited the vehicle, brandished a knife, and demanded his phone. The victim complied and the suspect fled in his vehicle.
The suspect was described as a male with light complexion, approximately 6’00”, slim build, and shoulder length, curly dark brown hair. The male was seen in a black Chevrolet Cruze, 4-door sedan. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective B.A. Boyle at 540-658-4450.
