WATCH: The Langley Aerodrome Experience opens in Stafford this weekend

Before the Wright Brothers there was Samuel Pierpont Langley. On May 6, 1896 he achieved the world’s first successful flight of an unpiloted, engine-driven, heavier-than-air-craft above the waters of the Potomac in Stafford.
