Route 2 (Main Street) in Bowling Green will be closed to through traffic between Chase Street/Milford Street and Courthouse Lane for an estimated six weeks for a utility project, the Virginia Department of Transportation announced.
The closure began today and will last until June 30, weather permitting.
Route 2 travelers should follow a posted detour using Route 207/Route 301 and East Broaddus Avenue.
