VDOT has installed new pedestrian crosswalks with Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons at three Stafford County intersections: Primmer House Road at Riggs Road and Switchyard Court, Plantation Drive south of Smokehouse Drive, and Woodcutters Road at Millrace Road.
The push-button beacons flash yellow to alert drivers when someone is preparing to cross, improving visibility for walkers and bicyclists near local schools.
