Public meetings begin in January to review design concepts for a memorial at the corner of William and Charles streets, the former site of the Slave Auction Block in downtown Fredericksburg.
The Fredericksburg Area Museum and the City of Fredericksburg are seeking community feedback before finalizing the design. We spoke with the monument’s designer about the ideas shaping the project.
