$20,000 in scholarships available to REC members’ children

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative is offering $20,000 in scholarships to students planning to attend or already enrolled in college or career and technical schools. Seventeen scholarships are available — two for $2,500 each and 15 for $1,000 each. To qualify, applicants must have a parent or guardian who is an REC member-owner and demonstrate strong academics, extracurricular involvement, community service, and provide letters of recommendation.
