Volunteers at Rappahannock Education Farm in White Oak spent Saturday harvesting cabbage, tying tomato plants, and helping provide fresh food to neighbors in need.

Rich Larochelle says the farm has now donated more than 20,000 pounds of vegetables this year to the food bank and pantries across the region. Every harvest puts fresh, healthy produce on the tables of families facing food insecurity.

About 35 volunteers turned out Saturday, proving that a few hours of work can have a big impact. No farming experience is required!
