The board of supervisors and the school board will hold a joint meeting to address multiple issues. The school board adopted a resolution earlier this month to request the board of supervisors place a referendum on the ballot for this fall’s election that would allow the county to adopt a 1% sales tax for school construction. The school board is also requesting a letter of support from the supervisors that will assist the division in obtaining School Construction Assistance Program grant funds.
