A memorial honoring Spotsylvania students will be dedicated Saturday at 2 p.m. in front of the School Board building at River Run, across from Massaponax High School.
The new memorial park features ten benches, where families can have their loved ones’ names included in remembrance. The project came together entirely through donations—no taxpayer money was used.
Spotsylvania parent Jaimie Ashton says the memorial is a lasting way to honor lives gone too soon and to give families and friends a peaceful place to remember and reflect.
