Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division will conduct range testing on Monday, Dec. 8, and officials warn the activity may generate loud noise in communities surrounding Naval Support Facility Dahlgren.
During testing, access to the Potomac River Middle Danger Zone—outlined in federal regulations under 33 CFR 334.230—will be restricted. Range schedules are subject to change, and residents can check daily updates by calling the NSWCDD Range and Weapons Testing hotline at (877) 845-5656 or by visiting the Potomac River Test Range website.
