Police in the City of Fredericksburg are looking for information on someone wearing a pink costume who was allegedly seen following children off Lafayette Boulevard last week.
Police responded to calls this past Thursday around 4:30 p.m. In a statement on Monday, police said they take such incidents seriously and have increased patrols in the Lafayette Boulevard corridor. FPD also encouraged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to authorities immediately.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the Fredericksburg Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance. Anyone who has seen or interacted with the suspect is urged to contact the Fredericksburg Police Department at 540-373-3122.
