The National Weather Service says very warm and humid conditions will persist today as a cold front is expected to cross the area this afternoon and early evening. As a result, the potential exists for strong to isolated severe thunderstorms this afternoon
The National Weather Service says showers and possible thunderstorms are expected into Sunday morning. Locally heavy rain is possible that could lead to flooding of small streams and creeks. One to two inches of rain are expected.

The National Weather Service says a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the areas in dark green starting this afternoon and continuing through tonight. Thunderstorms with heavy rain may cause flooding.
