The public is invited to provide their feedback on projects that are scored and recommended for funding.
The project will reduce crash risk and improve traffic flow at Exit 130 in Fredericksburg.
Improvements include a new exit 140 interchange, Courthouse Road widening, and an expanded Park & Ride lot.
The meeting will be a discussion of the DC2RVA Rail project.
Construction will begin in fall 2016, and is scheduled to be complete in November 2018.
Fredericksburg District projects include the I-95 Rappahannock River Crossing, the Virginia Central Railway Trail Bridge, and Chatham Bridge.
The project aims to reduce driver delays and enhance safety at the Express Lanes end point on I-95 in Stafford County.
The Atlantic Gateway project is in danger of not being funded because it is competing against Maryland’s Memorial Bridge for federal dollars.
The Fredericksburg meeting is 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015.
