The Fredericksburg Main Street Initiative (FMSI) is hosting a brainstorming session from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 24, in the community room at the Free Lance-Star, 616 Amelia St., Fredericksburg.
Executive Director Ann Glave distributed six questions to help shape the group’s vision for reinventing Fredericksburg in the process of downtown revitalization, and asked participants to come with ideas in hand.

The City of Fredericksburg has made more parking available for downtown visitors.
The city has leased a private parking lot for night and weekend public use. “This is the first agreement of this type in the city,” said City Manager Bev Cameron. “It’s an effective means to improve utilization of the parking inventory in downtown Fredericksburg.”
