The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank relies on donations. On August 5, Sarah Rosenbaum donated 48 pounds of food to the local nonprofit. What made this donation special was that Sarah raised the money to purchase the food — $61 — at a lemonade stand.
From 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank is sponsoring a Food-4-Families Stock the School Pantry Food Drive. The food drive will take place at Celebrate Virginia Giant Food, 550 Celebrate Virginia Pkwy., Fredericksburg.
The Fredericksburg Area Food Bank partners with other local agencies to distribute food to people in need throughout the area.
