Jud Honaker was President of Commerical Development for the Silver Companies. His wife posted on Facebook Sunday afternoon:
It is with extreme sadness, that I share the passing of my husband Jud Honaker. Our hearts are broken into a million pieces. Jud was one of a kind. Generous to so many, a hard worker, a fixer of anyone’s problems and always full of stories.

Jud Honaker has been associated with Silver Companies for more than 25 years and now leads the Commercial Development Division. He oversees sales, leasing, construction, engineering, and property management of our commercial development projects. He has developed, leased and sold commercial projects comprising more than 4 million square feet of retail and commercial space.
Prior to joining Silver Companies, he was employed by Mary Washington Hospital. Jud is a lifelong resident of Fredericksburg and has been involved with numerous organizations. He is a member of the Fredericksburg Regional Alliance. He is a past Chairman of the Rappahannock United Way and has served on the City Industrial Development Authority. Jud Honaker is a recipient of the Jaycees Outstanding Young Virginian Award. In 2011 Virginia’s Governor appointed Jud to the Board of Visitors at the University of Mary Washington.
