From Germanna:

Germanna Educational Foundation leader Bruce Davis announced his retirement during a Thank You dinner for donors.
Since GCC President Janet Gullickson appointed him as Special Assistant to the President for Institutional Advancement in 2018, the foundation’s total assets have grown by nearly 500 percent to just under $30,000,000. The growth consisted of an increase in endowed funds and the value of the Center Street campus Germanna will open in North Stafford in the fall of 2024.
He called his time at Germanna “a spectacular experience. I love the place.”
Davis is leaving GCC in March to become chair of the Mary Washington Healthcare Board. His retirement takes effect March 1.
“I’m very proud of what WE as a family have accomplished, Davis said. “I look forward to the next leaders moving us to yet another level. What we all need to remember is that you community family members and our Germanna employees are the people to carry on the legacy for the Germanna students who are just now joining the Germanna Family; students hoping to gain a skill, maybe get a degree, and become a part of such a wonderful community. Thank you all, for your support of Germanna and your community”
He received a standing ovation from the crowd at the dinner at Stevenson’s Ridge.
