On Monday, February 12th, Animal Control responded to a call for a cat that was attempting to attack individuals in the Dumfries area. This cat was contained and has tested positive for rabies.
If you or anyone you know came in physical contact with a cat meeting this description: Grey with white on legs and small amount of white on face, male, short hair, wounds on front and back legs. And were in the area of Jiffy Lube MultiCare, located at 17440 Fraley Blvd. Dumfries, between February 1st and February 12th.
