Virginia State Police are searching for the driver of a red Kia Forte who led troopers on a chase through Stafford and Prince William counties Monday evening.
The pursuit began around 6:04 p.m. on northbound I-95 after the driver refused to stop for reckless driving. It ended on Cardinal Drive when the suspect tried to make a U-turn and slammed into the pursuing trooper’s vehicle, disabling it before fleeing. The trooper was not hurt.
The Kia, Virginia license plate TMG 2420, is believed to have damage to the driver’s side rear door. Anyone with information is asked to contact Virginia State Police Division 2 Dispatch at 804-750-8778 or email: questions@vsp.virginia.gov
