The public is invited to attend a public hearing next week to view the proposed design to widen Route 606 (Mudd Tavern Road) to four lanes west of Interstate 95 in Spotsylvania County, and to add a new secondary road north of Mudd Tavern Road.

Traffic is advised to use alternative routes to avoid these areas.

Motorists should anticipate overnight delays, double lane closures and a full ramp closure on Interstate 95 northbound, southbound for multiple work zones in the Fredericksburg area.
