The James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library premiers its summer First Friday History Trivia Night series May 2, 2014.

Casey Alan Shaw will be exhibiting paintings, prints and drawings focused on Fredericksburg subjects at his first solo show in May and June. His exhibition — “FXBG” — will be held at Studio A Gallery, upstairs at 1011A Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg.
“This is the very first time a large group of my work will be gathered in one venue,” Shaw said. “My recent work focuses on my love for the scenery of Fredericksburg and its icons.”

“In the Mist,” an exhibition of new works by Fredericksburg artist Cathy Herndon, is the featured show at Art First Gallery from Tuesday, April 29, through Sunday, June 1, 2014.
