The winner will receive $10,000 toward their business startup expenses.

Plants Map, a mobile friendly, social gardening website, was the top winner in the 2014 Made in FredVA business startup competition.
The last day to vote is September 30, 2015.
The five finalists will compete for $10,000 on November 19, 2014.

Dr. Chris Neibauer will discuss his “Seven Principals of Unconditional Responsibility” at a September 16 event to benefit Startup Weekend Fredericksburg and Made in FredVa.
The longtime Fredericksburg-area resident built Neibauer Dental Care into a healthcare business with annual revenues exceeding $60 million. His presentation will focus on entrepreneurship and what it takes to achieve success.
