Route 1 Northbound Lane Closed at Falmouth Intersection

Virginia Department of Transportation Press Release
The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) has closed the northbound right lane of Route 1 in Stafford County from the Falmouth Bridge to the intersection of Route 17 Business and Route 218 (Butler Road) for emergency repairs to a drainage structure beneath the road.
The right lane is expected to remain closed until midday. The left lane remains open, but motorists should anticipate delays on Route 1 northbound near the Stafford County and City of Fredericksburg line.

Paving Work to Close NB I-95 Lanes in Fredericksburg Area

Two lanes of northbound Interstate 95 will be closed overnight August 10 – 14, 2014, for milling and paving between exit 126/Spotsylvania and exit 130/Route 3 at Fredericksburg.
Weather permitting, work has been scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 10 – Thursday, Aug. 14 during the following hours:
Sunday, Aug. 10 • Two northbound lanes close at 10 p.m. • All lanes re-open by 4:30 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 11 – Thursday, Aug. 14 • One northbound lane closes at 9 p.m. • A second northbound lane closes at 10 p.m. • All lanes re-open by 4:30 a.m.

New Section of Staffordboro Blvd. Commuter Lot Opens Monday

Traffic will be transitioned to a new parking section in the Route 684 (Staffordboro Blvd.) Park & Ride in Stafford County beginning September 15, 2014. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) recommends commuters leave a little earlier Monday because of the new layout.
