Belvedere Plantation Fall Festival
Weekends through October 31, 2015.
Fridays, 5 – 10 p.m.
Saturdays, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. (Closes at 5 p.m. on October 31)
Sundays, 10 a.m. -6 p.m.
Columbus Day Monday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Belvedere Plantation, 1410 Belvedere Dr., Fredericksburg
Pumpkin picking, bonfires, evening hayrides, cornfield maze — more than 25 attractions and activities. The Pumpkin Patch is lighted for night picking Friday and Saturday nights.

Braehead Farm Fall Festival Weekends
Every Saturday and Sunday in October, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Also open Columbus Day.
Braehead Farm, 1130 Tyler St., Fredericksburg
Hayrides through the decorated forest and around the farm. Corn maze and sunflower walk. Pumpkin decorating. A visit with, “”The Great Pumpkin” will be in the patch from 10-1 and 2-5 for you to visit! Play in the Family Play-Grounds: Hay barn, sand piles, corn pit, swings, farm animals and much more
Admission $9. 2 and under free.

45th Annual Graves Mountain Apple Harvest Festival
Saturdays Oct. 10 – 11, 17 – 18, 24 – 25, 10 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Graves’ Mountain Lodge, 205 Graves Mountain Lane, Syria, Va. 22743
Enjoy fun-filled days complete with Graves famous Food, live Bluegrass Music, cloggers, arts & crafts, hay Maze & Hay Mountain, Hayrides, Horseback Rides, apple picking, and more.
Free admission and free parking.

25th Annual Fredericksburg Wine Festival
Saturday and Sunday, Oct 10 and 11, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Pancho Villa Pavilion, Celebrate Virginia, 2150 Gordon Shelton Blvd., Fredericksburg
Taste wines from ten different wineries. Also features a beer garden, food vendors, artisans, crafters and live music.
Ages 21 and up, in advance, $15, at gate, $25; Ages 6 – 20 and designated drivers, $10 at gate; Ages 5 and under, free.

The Richmond Folk Festival
Friday, Oct. 9, 6 – 10 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 10, 12 – 9:30 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 11, 12 – 6 p.m.
The Richmond Folk Festival features more than 30 music and dance groups on seven stages, along with a Virginia Folklife demonstration area, children’s activities, a folk arts marketplace, regional and ethnic foods and more.
Free admission. Food, drink and merchandise are available for sale. Donations welcomed to help keep the festival free.

16th Annual Culpeper Airport Air Fest
Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Culpeper Regional Airport, 12517 Beverly Ford Rd., Brandy Station, Va.
See a wide array of flying machines and watch The Bealeton Flying Circus perform their wing-walking event. See unique radio controlled model airplanes. The highlight of this year’s Air Fest is the only privately-owned “Harrier” in the world. Kids ages 8 – 17 can sign up for free airplane rides.

The Now & Then Doll Club Doll & Toy Show and Sale
Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Fredericksburg Elks Lodge #875, 11309 Tidewater Trail, Fredericksburg
A doll display and dealers selling antique to modern dolls. The club is a non-profit organization and a member of the United Federation Of Doll Clubs. Lunch will be available.

Chancellorsville History Trail
Saturday, Oct. 10, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Chancellorsville Visitor Center, 9001 Plank Rd., Fredericksburg
This 4.3 mile hike follows some of the historic locations present in Stephen Crane’s “The Red Badge of Courage”.

Fredericksburg’s Fall Fairy Festival
Saturday, Oct. 10, 12 – 4 p.m.
Old Mill Park, 2410 Caroline St., Shelter #2, Fredericksburg
Facepainting, unicorn rides, princess carriage, fairy games, fairy house and fairy garden contest with cash prizes, and more. This is a fundraiser for the Fairy Godmother Project.

Journey from Slavery to Freedom Tour at James Madison’s Montpelier
Saturday, Oct. 10, 1 p.m.
James Madison’s Montpelier, 11407 Constitution Hwy., Orange
This tour takes visitors on a journey around Montpelier to historic slave sites. Tour guides teach the visitors on the struggles of the enslaved and their trip towards freedom.
Admission: $5 with a group, $10 alone

Light the Night Fredericksburg
Saturday, Oct. 10, 5 – 8 p.m.
Hurkamp Park, 500 Williams St., Fredericksburg
A fundraising campaign of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to “shine a light” on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.

Stage Alive presents Stringfever – Electric String Quartet
Saturday, Oct. 10, 7:30 p.m.
Culpeper County High School Auditorium, 14240 Achievement Dr., Culpeper
The stringed quartet features electric violins, viola, and cello. They are known for their audience engagement and high-energy arrangements, such as their James Bond medley.
Tickets: $5 for students, $25 for adults

Clifton Day Festival
Saturday, Oct. 11, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Historic Town of Clifton, 7144 Main St., Clifton
antique dealers, artists, bakers and other street vendors will line the town’s streets. Live bands, antique dealers, artists, street vendors, pony rides, craft demonstrations, children’s activities, a Civil War reenactment and a wide selection of food and beverage choices.
Free admission. Parking is $5.

The Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon
Monday, Oct. 12, 2 p.m.
The Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon from Marine Barracks Washington is a 24-man rifle platoon that performs a unique precision drill exhibition.
Free admission. Free parking.

Culpeper Renaissance’s 7th Annual Restaurant Week
