String of Larcenies from Vehicles Reported in Fredericksburg

Fredericksburg Police Department incident report for Monday, Dec. 29, 2014.

LARCENY:
1600 block Augustine Ave, 12/23 7:00 p.m. A resident reported that she looked out her window and saw a male subject rummaging through her vehicle. The victim confronted the subject and he fled from the scene after stealing a quantity of change from her car. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 6’ and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black puffy jacket and was carrying a backpack. The investigation is ongoing.

1000 block Raymond Ct, 12/21 – 12/22 4:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a number of CDs from his vehicle. Some of the items were later found in the woods by a neighbor. The investigation is ongoing.

900 block Sunken Rd, 12/28 5:30 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a windshield wiper blade from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Preserve Ln, 12/23 – 12/28 6:20 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through his vehicle and stole his Kindle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2500 block Carriage Ln, 12/22 – 12/23 5:45 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through her vehicle and stole a gift card. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2500 block Manor Dr, 12/23 6:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through her vehicle and stole a gift card. Three additional residents also reported that items of value were stolen from their vehicles. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1300 block Preserve Ln, 12/22 -12/23 5:15 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole his backpack from his unsecured vehicle. A second resident also reported that jewelry was stolen from her vehicle, and the box that had contained the jewelry was found by a neighbor in her yard. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Preserve Ln, 12/22 – 12/23 9:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through his vehicle and a second vehicle belonging to a family member and stole items of value from both of them. A neighbor also reported the same crime. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

2500 block Manor Dr, 12/22 – 12/23 9:30 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through his vehicle and stole his iPhone. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1400 block Preserve Ln, 12/22 – 12/23 3:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person rummaged through her vehicle and stole her iPhone. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

800 block College Ave, 12/23 7:00 p.m. Five residents of two different addresses reported that an unknown person rummaged through their vehicles, and loose change was stolen from two of the cars. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

900 block Brompton St, 12/24 – 12/25 7:30 a.m. Two residents reported that an unknown person rummaged through their vehicles and stole a wallet and other items of value from one of them.
A neighbor also reported that a golf club had been stolen from his vehicle as well. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Homewood Suites, 1040 Hospitality Ln, 12/25 1:00 p.m. An employee reported that an unknown person stole her purse and other items of value from her unlocked vehicle. The purse was later found in a nearby tree line. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1000 block Wicklow Dr, 12/24 – 12/26 11:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a license plate from her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

1200 block Farrish Dr, 12/23 1:50 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person stole a FedEx-delivered package from his porch. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

BURGLARY:
500 block Greystone Ct, 12/25 – 12/26 2:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person entered his apartment by unknown means and stole a game system. The investigation is ongoing.

VANDALISM:
3300 block Fall Hill Ave, 12/26 6:00 p.m. Two different motorists reported that an unknown person threw a rock and struck their car as they were traveling east on Fall Hill Avenue. In both cases, the rocks came from the direction of the woods next to Crestview Apartments. The impact shattered the windshield of one of the vehicles involved. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

500 block Caroline St, 12/27 – 12/28 1:00 p.m. A resident reported that an unknown person broke two panes of glass from a basement window. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

700 block Denton Cir, 12/27 – 12/28 10:00 a.m. A resident reported that an unknown person shattered a window on her vehicle. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

Jay’s Lounge, 2030 Plank Rd, 12/26 11:15 p.m. A patron reported that an unknown person slashed two tires on his vehicle and scratched the passenger side. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

700 block Caroline St, 12/27 2:25 a.m. A resident reported that a group of male subjects threw a Christmas decoration through her apartment window, shattering the glass. No known suspects at this time.

Foode, 1006 Caroline St, 12/20 11:15 a.m. The owner reported that two male subjects attempted to purchase a meal by using gift cards that had been stolen. The suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

2200 block Caroline St, 12/18 – 12/19 (reported 12/23) A resident reported that an unknown person stole prescription medication from her apartment. No suspects or witnesses at this time.

COUNTERFEITING:
Five Below, 1386 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/24 10:30 a.m. An employee reported that a female subject attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill, but the employee refused to accept it. The suspect was described as a short and stocky black female with her hair in a bun and wearing a gray sweater. She was accompanied by a tall black male with a beard and wearing a stocking cap. The investigation is ongoing.

Jimmy John’s, 1291 Carl D Silver Pkwy, 12/23 7:00 p.m. A manager reported that two male subjects attempted to make purchases using a counterfeit $50 bill, but an employee refused to accept it. The same two subjects also attempted to purchase gift cards at the nearby Radio Shack. The suspects were described as both black males in their 20s. One was wearing a black hoodie and had short dreadlocks and the other was wearing all black clothing and had a beanie hat with a Cowboys logo on it. The investigation is ongoing.

DUI ARRESTS:
Robin Ellis, 46, of Bowling Green was arrested on a charge of DUID in the 2000 block of Carl D Silver Parkway.

Leslie Camp, 37, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of DUI and child endangerment in the 2300 block of Cowan Boulevard.

ARRESTS:
Marco Levine, 23, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of public intoxication, larceny, destruction of property, and conspiracy.

William Klima, 25, of Stafford was arrested on charges of public intoxication, larceny, destruction of property, and conspiracy.

Joseph Bloom, 37, of Stafford was arrested on a charge of malicious wounding.

Matthew O’Donnell, 20, of Locust Grove was arrested on charges of indecent exposure, urinating in public, underage possession of alcohol, and public intoxication.

Jennifer Carter, 30, of Front Royal was arrested on charges of domestic assault, malicious wounding, destruction of property, and child endangerment.

Charle Brooks, 24, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Megan Neil, 34, of Stafford was arrested on charges of shoplifting and possession of schedule I,II narcotics.

Brenda Ochoa Guerrero, 25, of Springfield was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting.

Kori Gardner, 18, of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Gardner was released on a summons.

Juvenile female, 17, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. The juvenile was release on an intake referral.

Shannon Spencer, 36, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting.

William Clark, 54, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Clark was released on a summons.

Marvin Bolden , 44, of Buckingham was arrested on a charge of felony shoplifting. Leon Phillips, 35, of Colonial Beach was arrested on a charge of fraud.

Maria Galvan-Mendez, 31, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of violating the noise ordinance. Galvan-Mendez was released on a summons.

Frederick McKinney, 45, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Raymond Darby, 33, of Woodbridge was arrested on a charge of domestic assault and battery.

Erica Gaines, 37, of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and attempted malicious wounding.

Timothy Trend, 29, of Stafford was arrested on a charge of public intoxication.

Sherry Green, 52, of Fredericksburg was arrested on a charge of shoplifting. Green was released on a summons.
