Culpeper 4 th of July Freedom 5k

All participants will receive a 4th of July themed running shirt, and all 5k finishers will receive a free water bottle. Winners of each age group can expect awesome prizes such as customized performance running hats!

The 4th of July Car & Motorcycle Show includes custom, classic, and antique cars, hot rods, street rods, motorcycles, and trucks – all are welcome. The goal of the Culpeper Renaissance 4th of July Car and Bike Show is to provide free, family friendly entertainment by showcasing America’s love of cars and motorcycles on the Day of our Independence in a designated Great American Main Street community. Vendors are on site selling items such as barbeque, ice cream, hamburgers etc. A deejay plays oldies and patriotic music throughout the day for all to enjoy.

Salubria Archaeology Public Access Days

Salubria was built circa 1757 by the Reverend John Thompson for his wife, Butler Brayne Spotswood Thompson (widow of Lt. Governor Alexander Spotswood) and is the oldest brick structure in Culpeper County. The Germanna Foundation has owned the property since 2000.
