A man accused of stabbing a coworker during a fight at a Stafford County warehouse was arrested Monday night.

Leonard Pratt Jr., 22, of Port Royal is charged with malicious wounding, assault and battery and disorderly conduct. He is being held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

The incident occurred on March 8 at approximately 1:40 p.m. Deputy C.S. Harding responded to Genesis Logistics, located at 705 Bradburn Place, after a phone call reporting an alleged assault.

Authorities talked to witnesses, reviewed camera footage and collected evidence to determine that during the fight, the alleged suspect produced a bladed object. The victim attempted to escape, but was allegedly chased down and assaulted with the bladed object.

The victim departed to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. He was able to fight off his attacker, who fled the scene in a dark colored sedan before deputies arrived.
