I was standing in line for Sunday brunch at Foode, when tourists engaged me in conversation. These travelers wanted to eat brunch and get on the road. They didn’t want to wait. Where else in town could they go, they wanted to know?
I knew of a few downtown restaurants serving lunch on Sunday … but brunch?
So I asked on Facebook.
I investigated your suggestions, many of which turned out to be restaurants serving breakfast or lunch, not brunch. But I did discover five locations in downtown Fredericksburg serving Sunday brunch.

American University, owner of the DC based 88.5 FM station, has filed an asset purchase agreement with the FCC for Spotsylvania County based WWED and its booster signal in Fredericksburg for $375,000.

Gene M. Carr has been hired as interim CEO and publisher of The Free Lance-Star, Sandton Capital Partners announced Thursday after closing on their purchase of the publishing company.
Additionally, all current FLS staff were offered their jobs at the same salary and with similar benefits, said Robert Orr, Sandton Capital Partners managing director.
The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce is accepting applications for its Leadership Fredericksburg 2015 class.
