Clearing the snow is hampered by the amount and by the number of cars buried along the curb.
VDOT crews are working 24 hours a day using 1,000 pieces of equipment to clear 4,615 miles of secondary roads in the Fredericksburg District.

Subdivision plowing January 25 will consist of an initial pass to provide motorists a way to reach the main roads.
No one was hurt.
Downtown businesses may be open, as owners decide. Call ahead to make sure.
Despite the improving weather, motorists are urged to remain off the roads today.
